Welcome to ABC Rent A Car Oman. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our car rental services. By booking a vehicle with us, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Rental Requirements:

Drivers must be at least 21 years of age to rent standard vehicles, and 25 years for luxury/4x4 categories.

A valid driver's license held for at least one year must be presented.

International visitors must provide a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside their national license.

2. Bookings & Payments:

All bookings are subject to vehicle availability. A security deposit may be required at the time of pickup, which will be refunded upon the safe return of the vehicle. Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, or cash as outlined during checkout.

3. Insurance & Liability:

Our vehicles come with standard insurance coverage. The renter is responsible for any excess charges in the event of an accident caused by their negligence, or if driving under the influence. Full comprehensive cover options are available at the rental counter.

4. Vehicle Usage & Restrictions:

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rental vehicles.

Off-road driving is prohibited unless a specialized 4x4 off-road vehicle is explicitly booked for such purposes.

Cross-border travel (e.g., driving to the UAE) requires prior written consent and additional border insurance documentation.

5. Fines & Tolls:

The renter is solely responsible for any traffic fines, parking tickets, or road tolls incurred during the rental period. An administrative fee may apply for processing such fines.

6. Cancellation & Modifications:

You may modify or cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the pickup time. Cancellations made within less than 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.
